Perfectly matching our toasters merido5, ritterwerk now presents the first kettle in its more than 100 years of history.
The cavita5 kettle also tops its class in functional details and was awarded for its outstanding design. It has won the renowned red dot product design award 2013. This award is a seal of quality recognized worldwide for outstanding design. Instead of recycling old designs in retro, the user-friendliness does define the looks. The cordless kettle with 360° rotating base does have a heat-resistant high-quality acrylic housing. The double-sided indicator allows to easily read the water level. LED indicators show the set temperatures of 70°, 80°, 95° and 100° C. All safety requirements are fulfilled by overheating protection, boil-dry protection and automatic switch-off functions.

Four temperature settings
For the optimal enjoyment of black tea, green tea or coffee, the right preparation and above all the correct water temperature are crucial. With the four temperature settings 70°, 80°, 95°C and 100°C, you can set exactly the temperature that is needed. In addition, the set temperature is displayed by LEDs.
Housing made of acrylic glass
The outer casing is made of high-quality acrylic glass. This means that the kettle not only looks elegant, but is also heat-insulated to the outside. cavita5 meets more than the existing requirements of the standard for hot surfaces for kettles. Water level indicator on both sides
The water level indicator of the wireless container can be easily read from both sides even when filling - for left and right handed users.
Safety lid with locking mechanism
The lid is equipped with a locking mechanism which prevents accidental opening of the lid for safety reasons.
Limescale filter
The limescale filter is made of metal and can be removed for cleaning.
No dripping
The sharp spout edge ensures a comfortable pouring without annoying dripping.
Easy to fill and clean
