cafena5 coffee machine – energy-saving and elegant
With the cafena5 coffee machine, 8 cups of 125 ml of filtered coffee can be brewed. The elegant thermal jug is equipped with a shatter-proof stainless steel vacuum cylinder and is ideally suited as a serving jug.
cafena5 impresses with an energy-saving eco-brewing process. Unlike other coffee machines, the integrated boiler is located right underneath the water tank, which leads to short water routes and thus to reduced temperature losses, noise and steam. When not in use, the cafena5 coffee machine can be left in standby mode at 0 Watt, which also helps to save energy.
With an automatic calcification stop function the cafena5 will stop the brewing sequence as soon as the coffee machine no longer works efficiently due to calcification or if there is a risk of damage to the heating element.
During the brewing process, the light of the eco-switch illuminates in red. Once the process has finished, the light goes out and the eco-switch moves into the off-position automatically. Unlike with other manufacturers, cafena5 switches off automatically right after the brewing process, regardless of the desired number of cups.
The rotatable, removable filter holder, which is equipped with a drip stop and overfill protection, can be cleaned easily and conveniently.

Special features
Energy-saving coffee brewing
The cafena5 filter coffee machine is particularly energy-saving. The coffee machine automatically switches off to the 0-watt standby mode immediately after brewing.
Optimum brewing temperature
The water tank and brewing system of the machine are located above the filter. The short distance between the water tank and filter achieves an optimal brewing temperature of the coffee. In addition, the noise is significantly reduced and less steam escapes during the brewing process.
Long-lasting coffee enjoyment
The vacuum jug with shatter-proof vacuum cylinder made of stainless steel ensures a long-lasting, hot coffee enjoyment. At the same time, unpleasant burns are prevented by the heat-insulated outer housing. The jug is also suitable as an elegant serving jug to the table.
Automatic limescale stop
The cafena5 coffee machine switches off automatically if the heating element can no longer work on the basis of limescale deposits or there is a risk of damage to the heating element. The automatic limescale stop helps to protect the heater from premature wear and thus supports the durability of the machine.
Swivelling filter carrier
The swivelling filter carrier is equipped with a drip stop and an overflow protection. The filter carrier can be easily removed for cleaning.

With the coffee filter machine cafena5, 8 cups of 125 ml filter coffee can be brewed. The coffee machine is designed for filter size 4.
Sharp spout edge
The sharp spout edge of the vacuum jug prevents annoying drips when pouring and can therefore prevent unwanted coffee stains.
